Spaniels that have found their new forever homes during this month

SAM

SAM

Sam is a 4½ year old Black and White Springer x Clumber Spaniel who needs a new home as his owner has sadly passed away.

ROLO

ROLO

Rolo is a handsome black and tan show cocker, and is 4 years old.

He has been surrendered after he began fighting with the other dogs at home. His owner felt that his behaviour with the dogs at home changed after he was attacked by another dog on a walk. The other dog got hold of his tail, so now he is wary of other dogs and doesn't like to have his tail touched.

When he came into our care he had several substantial matts in his fur that were tight against his skin. Our vet has arranged to remove the matts under sedation (there are so many and it would be too stressful for Rolo to do while he was fully awake). His vaccinations had also expired, so we have restarted them (2nd injection due end of Aug 2025).

Rolo will need a home where he is the only dog.

Can you you provide Rolo the forever home he deserves?

ZIGGY (was BUDDY)

ZIGGY (was BUDDY)

Two year old Buddy is a black and white cocker spaniel. He is a handsome and affectionate boy.

He first came to us at the start of June after he had bitten one of his owners. He spent a short time in one of our foster homes for assessment. His fur was matted making him sore and a little bit grumpy, but he was soon feeling better once he had a quick trim.

We understand that Buddy only had limited exercise and human interaction in his first home. He hadn't had any training and likely felt very frustrated. While in his foster home he quickly demonstrated how much he enjoys exercise and is eager to learn and please.

Buddy was adopted but he has come back into our care after he bit his new owner while trying to put his lead on.

Buddy's foster home is going to resume his training and help him understand that humans and a lead are good things.

His forever home needs to be extra patient with him and work at his pace. We would strongly recommend that his forever home works alongside a behaviourist to best understand how to help him settle in and be the best version of himself.

Do you have the time, experience and patience that Buddy so deserves?
